Oculoplastic surgery includes a wide variety of surgical procedures that deal with the orbit (eye socket) eyelids, tear ducts, the face and also reconstruction of the eye and associated structures.  These problems are both reconstructive and cosmetic. The following are examples of typical problems we treat using oculoplastic surgery are:

  • Vision obstruction due to droopy eyelids.
  • Lids turning inward or outward or creating irritation.
  • Excessive skin or fat in the upper or lower eyelids blocking vision also
  • resulting in an unattractive appearance.
  • Fine wrinkles including frown lines and crow’s feet.
  • Benign and malignant growths on the eyelids.
  • Blocked tear ducts resulting in excessive tearing.
  • Infection, inflammation or tumors in the tissues behind the eye.
