Cary L. Burton, M.D.

General Ophthalmology

Dr. Burton served as an officer, on active duty, in the United States Army from June 24, 1975, until Sept 24, 1983. He is a member of many professional organizations including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Texas Medical Association, and the Texas Ophthalmologic Association.

Music has been a vital component of Dr. Burton’s life since early on. During junior and senior high schools he was a member of the Dallas Area Band, the Texas All-State Band, and French horn section leader three years running in All-Region Band. He has been a member of several adult hand-bell choirs and church choirs, as well as directing children’s and youth hand-bell choirs. He also has been a member of a local auditioned adult choir. His three adult children are excellent instrumentalists and his youngest son owns and operates a music production studio here in Fort Worth.
